Vermont Chiropractic Orthopedics: Frequently Asked Questions

Are these some of your questions?

Do you take new patients?

Yes, we continually take new patients for various neuromusculoskeletal conditions.

Can I be seen today?

Established patients know we will try to see them as soon as possible and fit them in where we can. We try to see new patients as soon as possible but if you are new to our practice you will need to plan on being in the office on your first visit probably from 1-3 hours. We take such a healthy amount of time with new patients because we want to establish both the knowledge and relationship that we will need in order to work collaboratively with you. We encourage prospective patients to review our web site in its entirety, for in it you will find a lot of information about our approach to patients and to collaboration.

Do you take x-rays?

If your first examination raises any question about congenital abnormalities (defects from birth), degenerative changes, injury to your skeleton, or even possible contraindications to our treatment, we will recommend x-rays. Most patients are actually relieved when we recommend x-rays, as they feel they will finally actually "see something."

Will you accept my insurance?

We accept the following Plans:

  • VT BC/ BS
  • CBA/ EBPA
  • CIGNA
  • HCVM
  • CompNet
  • NE Health Direct
  • Medicare

We accept most patient's insurance coverage. Pleae call our office and ask for our experience with your insurance company. Please see the Insurance and Billing section of our web site for more information.

Chiropractic care works best for patients who ask questions, push for answers, and take ultimate responsibility for all aspects of their health care.
